Lennix, James H. "Chief", age 87, at home on Monday, June 4, 2018 of Baldwin Boro. Beloved husband of 62 years to Sally (Carpenter); loving father of Craig J. (Christina) and Lisa A. (Denis) Patla; proud pappy of Courtney and Cameron Lennix and Drew Patla; brother of Lois Miller and the late Helen (Nick) Mattis. Also survived by his sister-in-law Marcia Thomas, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. Jim's family extended well beyond his immediate family. Lennix Auto Works has been in his family for four generations. He was very proud of the relationships he fostered with customers, employees, and vendors. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to South Park Meals on Wheels, 6810 Hilldale Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
