I will miss my dad more than words can express. How fortunate I feel to have had him for my dad for 60 years. I find peace knowing that he is not in pain anymore and that he is in heaven with my mom. R I P daddy, I will miss you for the rest of my life.

Sorry to hear. Condolences to the Lachut Family

Sending our thoughts and prayers to the entire Lachut family. As a close friend of Jimmy, Mr. Lachut (as we got older he always told me to call his Jim but out of respect I always stuck with Mr. Lachut), was a big part of our lives growing up. He always treated us like part of the family. Even in the times when he had to push us in order to keep us out of trouble. He and Mrs. Lachut were everything that is special about growing up in Pittsburgh with good friends. RIP Mr. L!

Very sadden to hear the passing of Jim. I worked with Jim while at Giltspur Exhibits. So, glad I had the opportunity to meet Jim and work with him, Jim always took time to help make one a better tradesman. My sympathies go out to Jim Jr and his family during this difficult time.
