Obituary For James L. Friedman

May 11, 1929 - April 20, 2017

Friedman, James L., age 87, on Thursday, April 20, 2017 of Whitehall. Beloved husband of 59 years to Marilyn (Mosurak) Friedman; loving father of Sharon L. (Paul) Zaremski, Kathleen V. Friedman and Terri L. (J.R.) Gilpin; proud grandfather of Tara, Tyler, Madison, Jordan, Carson, Logan and Keegan; son of the late F. Lee and Marie (O'Connor) Friedman. Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Proud former member of the Knights of Columbus. Jim graciously donated his body to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center through the Humanity Gifts Registry. Friends will be received for a Memorial Visitation at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
