Obituary For James P. Flinn

December 11, 1969 - December 20, 2018

Flinn, James P., age 49, unexpectedly on Thursday, December 20, 2018 of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Brentwood. Loving husband of 22 years to Michelle L. (Kearns); proud and loving father of Braden Alexander, Sydney Paige, McClain James and Laekyn Avery; beloved brother of Michael (Sally); uncle of Brody and Delaney; son of the late Butch and Suzanne. Jimmy graduated from Brentwood High School and Westminster College. He had many valued relationships with family, friends, and co-workers. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 8:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas A' Becket Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Jim's children's education fund c/o Michelle Flinn.

    So sorry for such a great loss to Jim's family an friends. A good man taken to soon. It's hard to understand God's plan an accept the loss of such a huge persona an heart. A person said to me once if there's a problem that God can't fix on earth he takes you with him to release you from the pain or sickness and let's you be guardian angel of the ones that you love.
