Age 78, after a long illness, on Thursday, August 27, 2020, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of 58 years to Joe Schmidlin; loving mother of Joseph J. (Robin) Schmidlin, Jr.; proud Gram of Matthew and Emily Schmidlin; sister of Nancy Eiben and Dorothy (Lee) Frazier; sister-in-law of Carol (Tom) Izzo of Chicago. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Family and close friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to both at the funeral home and church.
