Prosser, Jane Lang

Of Whitehall, formerly of Bethel Park, PA passed peacefully on February 1, 2014. She was born February 9, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA. Beloved wife for 51 years to Charles S. Prosser; mother of Charles S. (Angie) Prosser, III of Acworth, GA and Lisa (Richard) Robbins of Bethel Park; grandmother of Holden and Madeline Prosser and Nathaniel, Jared and Lianna Robbins; daughter of the late William T. Lang and Jean Lang Downie and cherished niece of the late Anna Mackey. Jane was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park where she was active throughout the years in United Methodist Women's Circle, Craft Group, and CUMC Women's Bowling. Jane loved spending time with her family and wonderful friends and neighbors. She loved entertaining. She enjoyed celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary with dear friends and family at White Sands in Longboat Key, Florida and hosting family and friends at her annual Christmas Eve Brunches. There will be no visitation. In celebration of Jane's life, a Memorial Service is planned for Thursday, April 3, 2014 when family and friends will gather at Christ United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m..
