January 15, 1938-September 22, 2018

Hasson Brown, Janet H. Age 80, on Saturday, September 22, 2018, formerly of Brentwood .

Beloved wife and true love for over 40 years to Robert J. Brown; loving mother of Robert M. Hasson and David W. (Lisa) Hasson; step-mother of Robert W. (Karen) Brown; devoted grandmother of Robert S. (Laura) Hasson, Kristen P. (Alex) Maldonado, Samantha and Taylor Brown; proud great-grandmother of Ava, Luke and Gianna; daughter of the late George and Clara Schaefer; sister of Patricia Schaefer, Nancy Blume, and the late Claire, George, Jack, Jean and Bill. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Janet retired as a head clerk from Carrick High School. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 28th in St. Sylvester Church at 10 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment of ashes will follow in St Michael Cemetery. Arrangements made by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 In lieu of flowers, family suggest contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or a charity of one's choice.
