Gildea, Janet L. Age 73, on Saturday, May 9, 2015, of Baldwin/Brentwood.

Loving mother of Denise (Tom) Recker, Rosemarie (Buddy) Niziol, Mark (Bonnie) Gildea, Michael (Michelle) Gildea and Jennifer (Danny) Mazzie; cherished grandmother of Shawn (Rebecca) and Brittany Recker, Ashley Niziol, Meghan and Josh Gildea, Madison and McKenzie Mazzie. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday 2-8 pm. Blessing Service on Wednesday Morning at 10:00 am.

    My sincerest heartfelt condolence to the entire family of Janet Gildea. I am a friend of Micheal thru his former work. I would have wanted to pass along my sympathy in person, but I cannot be there at that time. I never met any other family member, but I could tell that Micheal had love all around him when he spoke of people that were dear to him.That extends to his mother. Best thoughts and wishes through this trying time.
