Obituary For Jean (Fleishman) Zelenack

Age 86, of Brentwood, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 Beloved wife of 57 years to the late William A. Zelenack. Jean was predeceased by her mother, Bessie Fleishman (Gorman), father, Isadore “Izzy” Fleishman and sister, Molly Fleishman. She is survived by loving nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.

    Dearest Family of "Aunt Jean". She was "Aunt Jean" to so many non relatives within the Peterson family. We only referred to her as "Aunt Jean". It was sweet. While I only had a few visit with her on my Pittsburgh trips, it was nice hearing her decorating stories, we talked about our bad hair days, shopping (oh, she wanted to go to Macy's) and she seemed to put up with my stories in NY and photos I would share. I'm just sorry, I did not get to see her in her new home. Now, mom Peterson, always enjoyed sending her famous banana or pumpkin bread over to Aunt Jean and Uncle Bill, as it was her special thing to share with them and we know they enjoyed it. Truly, lots of memories and lots of stories but know that Aunt Jean will have a special place in our hearts. With Love and Hugs, Terry NY & Mom PA
