Obituary For Jean K. Beck

March 11, 1946 - June 25, 2014

Beck, Jean K. (Seng) Age 68, after a long, hard fought battle with cancer, on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of Randolph C.; loving mother of Charles (Amy); proud grandmother of Nash and Nicholas; sister of Judy (Dave) Kozminski and the late Alan (survived by Harriet) Seng; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Riley. Jean truly enjoyed the years she worked as an aid at Paynter Elementary. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert the Great Church at 9:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

    Dear Randy, Just learned of Jean's death.Such sad news! I lost touch with Jean during the retirement years but have many fond memories of the years we worked together.She was an incredible woman and my heart goes out to you and the rest of her family who must miss her terribly.     Randy, Chuck and Family, We are truly sorry to hear of our dear neighbor Jean's passing. We know she was a tough lady and fought very hard.
