June 24, 1927 - January 23, 2019 Jean (Paranzino) Luczak, Age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 23, 2019 while in hospice care at Elmbrook Hospital in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Luczak; loving mother of David (Cindy) Luczak; cherished Grandmother of Jason (Dana) Luczak, Daniel (Jennifer) Luczak, and Holly (Eric) Schleicher; great-grandma (??Grandma Jean') and best buddies with Sofia, Landon, Preston, Daisy, Mila and Elle; caring sister of Michael Paranzino, Daniel Paranzino and Doris Cieri and the late James, Lawrence, Samuel and Thomas Paranzino and Marie Orefice. Jean was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she lived the first 80 years of her life. The daughter of the late Donato and Anna Paranzino, Jean was the 5th of 9 children. She had many different jobs in her life but she was most proud of her 30+ years as Secretary/Receptionist at Baldwin High School. She worked full time at Baldwin High until the age of 80. Jean spent the last decade of her life living in Brookfield, Wisconsin so she could be closer to her son and family. She made many friends and cooked a lot of great Italian meals for her fellow residents at Heritage Place Senior Apartments. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, January 31, 2019 4-7 p.m. and Friday from 9-10:15 a.m., at which time a funeral prayer will take place. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
