Obituary For Jeanne H. T. Mirenna

May 11, 1957 - January 8, 2020

Mirenna, Jeanne H.T., age 62, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 of Connoquenessing, formerly of Allentown.

Beloved wife to Terry Mirenna; loving mum to Ronald Healey and Andrew Tkacik; sister of Reid (Linda) Scharding. Also survived in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jeanne worked for 30 years as a radiology technologist at Allegheny General Hospital. Jeanne will always be remembered for wishing a "Happy" Day! Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday and Monday, January 12 & 13, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please bring a fond story or memory to share at visitation.

    I was a traveler from Alabama who worked at AGH for about a year in 2015 and 2016 and Jeanne made me feel at ease and was a big help to me on the job. Jeanne also had a great sense of humor that made the job a lot of un. Thanks again to you, Jeanne, someone I am fortunate to have known. My sincere condolences to all of the family and many friends.

    She was such a funny lady.. She was a super strong woman and she didn't take s**t from anyone. She also cared a lot for her patients, family, coworkers and friends. She's always the life of the party. I'll miss her tremendously.

    Thinking of Jeanne brings a smile to my face. Thank you for that my friend. I remember working the 11-7 shift in CT with her @ AGH's ER. All I can think of is... Annette... it's my way or the highway... This is my world watch and learn! Tear after tear, we love you and miss you. Smile after smile, we treasure our memories with you. Wherever you are Jeanne...
