Obituary For Jeanne (Young) Brogan

April 23, 1935 - May 30, 2014

Brogan, Jeanne (Young) Age 89, on Friday, May 30, 2014, formerly of Boynton Beach FL and Whitehall.

Wife of the late John Brogan; sister of the late Harry (Dorothy) Young and George Young; beloved aunt of Tom (Karla) Young, Steven (Joette) Young, Connie (Ken) Greb, Chris (Adrienne Kenny) Young, Betsy (Sylvester) Kubacki, Paul Young and the late Michael (survived by Sandy) Young; also survived by 19 great-nieces and nephews and 21 great-great nieces and nephews. Some of the best years of Jeanne's life were spent with the Warrington Rec. "Over the Hills Gang." Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    My sympathy to the family of Jeanne. I am the bingo volunteer on Mondays @ Concordia of Cranberry. I started about 3 summers ago & since then Jeanne was one of my "regulars". This evening the ladies who sit at her table informed me of her passing. I am glad that I had the pleasure of knowing Jeanne. She will truly be missed 🙁
