Obituary For Jeannette D. Carr

Carr, Jeannette D., 88 years young, died of natural causes on Friday, May 22, 2020, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Bethel Park and her summer residence in Provincetown, MA.

Loving wife of the late Sheridan G. Carr; beloved mother of Scott (Carla) of Ohio, Colonel Jeffrey, Army Retired (Barbara) of IA and Doug (Dawn) Carr of VA; proud grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 10; sister of Mary Koch of NJ; sister-in-law of Natalie Dawley of CA. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and her church community and friends. Will also be missed by her caring neighbors at Hampshire House Apartments in Mt. Lebanon. Jeannette was a 44 year volunteer at Mayview and spent 15 years teaching at Hillcrest Christian Academy. Visitation and funeral service were held privately with immediate family.     Sincere sympathy to Scott, Jeff, and Doug and their families. These are strange times when friends can't be with you in person to share fond memories of your Mother, but I want you to know you are in my prayers during this sad time. I remember you as young boys and typing some of your school reports (before computers and spell check) I guess I was sometimes your spell check) God bless you all.
