Fabian, Jerome P. "Jerry" Age 77, of Brentwood, "went to God's house" on Friday, June 12, 2015.

Beloved husband of Frances (Kardell) Fabian for 42 years; loving father of Nicholas (Victoria), Todd and Stacey (Jason) Very; proud grandfather of Elizabeth Ashton, Grace, Samuel, Daniel and Hope Fabian, and Eden and Autumn Very; son of the late Paula Delval and Stephen Fabian; brother of Christina (Robert) Kanigowski and the late S. Thomas and Martin Fabian; Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces, as well as many extended family members. Jerry was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army serving with the 101st Airborne Division (Screaming Eagles). He worked as a laborer and then draftsman for LTV Steel for over 35 years, and most recently as a maintenance worker for the VA Hospital of Pittsburgh. Jerry was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Sunday from 6-8 p.m., and Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 11:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert the Great Church at noon. If desired, memorial donations can be made in Jerry's name to Light of Life or the Salesians Missions.
