I only just learned of Jimmy's untimely passing. My sisters and I also grew up with Jimmy and Kevin in the Pyramid and Brevard Avenue neighborhood of Brentwood. Truly such innocent times! May God bless and comfort you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to your family over the loss of Jimmy (as I remember him....) I was one of the neighborhood kids who played Jimmy and Kevin in our elementary school days. I lived on Child Drive when your family was on Divine. I remember riding bikes in the neighborhood and playing in your backyard and basement. Such fun, innocent times. As it often happens, friends move and time goes on and we lost contact until I saw the announcement last week, ironically being in town for the funeral of one of our other childhood neighbors and long time friend, Roger Graf. I was sorry to see Jimmy's announcement which brought back memories from over 50 years ago. Unfortunately, I had to return to TN on Sunday and was unable to attend his visitation. In another irony, one of my favorite things to do when visiting PA was to go to the Brentwood 4th of July parade to see the emergency equipment and all of the various participants. Undoubtedly, we were probably feet from one another and didn't realize it. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. Bud Matto Franklin, TN

Mary Beth, To you and all Jimmy's family and friends, I hope you are all comforted by the great memories of him. He and I were only friends because of Pete Heinzl. Jimmy called me to tell me of Pete's passing over 20 years ago and I'll never forget his kindness in breaking the devastating news to me and for looking after Pete's wife all the years since. RIP.
