Obituary For Joan D. Linder

Joan D. (Gelzhiser) Linder, age 92, of Baldwin, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late August J. "Gus" Linder. Loving mother of Patty S. Boyer, John Linder, and Rich Linder. Devoted Nana of Johnny (Amanda) Linder, Clint Linder, and Heather (Justin) Barrera. Proud Great-Nana of Brock, Dylan, Sara, Isaac, and Caleb. Sister of the late Earl (the late Barb) Gelzhiser. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Joan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227 Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
