Obituary For Joan Shelton Keglovich

Age 82, of Bethel Park, passed unexpectedly, yet peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2024. She was born August 18, 1941 in Pittsburgh to the late Raymond and Bernice Shelton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Ludwig "Sonny" Keglovich and their children; Laurel Candelario, Cynthia (Sherwood) Grimm, James (Tammy) Keglovich and Dale Keglovich; Grammy of Melinda Grimm, Lindsay Ritenbaugh, Lauren (AJ) Abunuwar, Heather (Jerry) McMahon, Kirsten Ritenbaugh and Colin Grimm; she was “Old Grammy” to her “Greats”, Jordan Kittel, Bryce Abunuwar and Brett Abunuwar; she is also survived by her dear and only sister, Jeanne Hecht, brother-in-law Charles Keglovich and many nieces and nephews. Joan was a long time member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday in the funeral home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:00 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions be made to the Hamilton Presbyterian Church Deacon Fund, http://tinyurl.com/HamiltonGive
