I am so completely and absolutely shocked, saddened and sorry. I just went to Joanne's Facebook page to remind her about our 1962 class reunion picnic. She was there last year and I so enjoyed seeing her; we were such very good friends in high school. I have at least a million memories of all of the things that we did together and all of the times we were in each other's homes during high-school. And, I was so proud of her working in what was then considered a man's field. She was a very special woman and friend. What a terrible loss for all of you

Joann was my friend, a fellow tennis athlete, bicycle companion, and all around good person. She spoke proudly of her children Shane and Mindy, and glowingly of all of her grandchildren and their many adventures together. Joann was a very kind, loving, and gentle human. I will miss her, and I am grateful to have had her grace my life. Judy Pastor

Shane,Mindy and families, So sorry for your loss. Joann was an amazing woman. Always had a kind word. Always interested in what was going on in your life. She made the effort to be at every event. She even drove to Harley, Pa to pick up my parents to bring them to Jason's wedding in Syracuse. I will miss her so much. She was so important to Larry and me. All my love and sympathy, cousin Ruth

Jo was one of my Camp Redwing Counselors over 60 years ago! I idolized her and will never forget her bright RED swinsuit! I think she is swimming with the angels. Sally Cain
