Veri, Joann C. (Talak), age 79, on Sunday, August 27, 2017 of Carrick. Wife of the late Andrew A. Veri; mother of Mark, Norma Jean and Catherine; grandmother of Jay Hageter; sister of the late Betty Demianczyk, Jack "Chook" Talak and Stanley Talak, Jr. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
