To all of Jack's family. We moved into Hidden Lakes last year down a few houses from your dad home. Your dad and Archie stopped as we were unloading the U-Haul to welcome us to the neighborhood. We would take our dog for a walk with your dad and Archie. He would tell us about playing golf here and you knew he loved living in Hidden Lakes. When he was sick this winter we were the neighbors that would come down to take Archie for his bedtime walk. One day when Jack was out in the garage we were walking by he said something about a new car we said no we had our same Chevy just like his, he smiled and said no I have a new car! Come see it I don't wear them out but I do get tired of the interior we laughed. Then he knew we just bought a golf cart so he said next he was going to sell the Corvette and get a golf cart for Archie and him to take "walks" with. The day we were leaving I stopped gave him a big hug, patted Archie and told them we would see him in Oct. We might not have know Jack as long others but he will be missed by us! You have all been in our thoughts and prayers. Michele and Scott deCamp

Condolences to the family of Jack Davidson. I worked with and for Jack for 20 years in the PPG Chemicals Controllers group. He was great teacher and mentor. He challenged me and provided opportunities to grow. I communicated this obituary to a few colleagues at PPG who worked with Jack and received the following comments: â?¢ I always liked Jack, he was a good guy. â?¢ I was just thinking about him the other day. â?¢ I really liked Jack ... he was great to work with and for. â?¢ He was a very special person in my life and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to work with him. â?¢ It was probably two weeks ago the he (Jack) popped into my head and I wondered how he was doing. I always liked and respected Jack. â?¢ I really and truly liked Jack. I was his admin when he was Controller and truly liked him and Judy. â?¢ Good memories of working for Jack. After +20 years of being retired from PPG, people still think about Jack. Easy to see that Jack was respected and a great individual to work with and for. I was also fortunate to get to know both Jack and Judy. My wife and I visited their Brentwood house, dined with them at Chartiers Country Club, enjoyed their company at a few dinner dances at Oglebay, WV and shared a few Steeler games with them. I will remember Jack for his calm personality and friendship. He was one of a kind and will be missed. Again my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am so sorry and very saddened by Jacks passing. I waited on him everyday for many years at Ruthy's Kozy Kitchen in New Smyrna Beach. He came in everyday day at the same time. I personally had his phone number, so i could call and check on him, through his back surgery, flu etc.. i couldn't reach him last week, knowing something was wrong, he always called me back. He will be so missed, its hard looking at his table 6 he sat at everyday. I am so sorry for his family, and their loss. We all loved him, and I will miss him very much.

Joe and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I never had the opportunity to meet him, however, I'm sure he was a great father as evidenced by the great person you have become. I pray that you find strength through our Lord to help you through this difficult time. Respectfully, Joe
