Beloved husband of Shirley for 56 years; loving father of Sandra (Michael) Palma and Susan (Joseph) Sholtis; grandfather of David (Shawna) Sholtis, Jeffrey Sholtis, Sean, Devon, Jesse and Emily Palma; brother of Margerie (Thomas) Dionise and the late Eleanor Hagley. Also survived by his three furry friends, Molly, Maggie, and Casey. Jack was a longtime and proud member of Steamfitters Union Local 449, he loved gardening and was a huge fan of crossword puzzles. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:15.
