Ciko, John Age 92, suddenly on Friday, January 6, 2017, of McKees Rocks

Son of the late Mary and Michael Ciko; brother of Helen Goebel, John Ciko, Jr. and the late Anna Hamler, Mary Ganster, Michael Ciko, Jr. and Catherine Meadows. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews and a great-great-grand niece. John had a special relationship with his nephew Wm. Goebel (the late Kitty) and his family. He also always enjoyed special visits from his nieces Shirley Kaczmarek (Bill) and Becky Meadows. John proudly served in the Army during WWII. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday from 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anne Church at 11 am.
