Obituary For John G. "Jack" Russman

Age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Sandra L. (Hutchin) Russman; loving father of Michael (Mary) Russman; proud Pap of Zachary (Tabitha), Luke and Rachel "Peanut" Russman; son of the late John and Rita (Wagner) Russman; brother of Sally (Ron) Pilarski; uncle of Darla Eggert and Doug Pilarski. John served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked for Duquesne Light for 41 years as an Equipment Operator. John loved hunting, fishing and his camp, in addition to casinos, traveling and especially Treasure Island, FL. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, Holy Angels Church at 10:30 a.m.
