Obituary For John J. Doyle, III

April 2, 1987 - August 13, 2015

Doyle, John J., III, age 28, unexpectedly on Thursday, August 13, 2015 of California, PA, formerly of Whitehall. Beloved son of John J. "Jack", II and Andrea G. Doyle (Dorsey); loving grandson of John J., Jr., the late Marita Doyle, the late Joseph W. and Martha G. Dorsey; dear brother of Kate and Tom Doyle. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends. John was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, a dedicated weight lifter, and car enthusiast. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of a Blessing Service at 8:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Western PA Humane Society, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.

    My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mr and Mrs Doyle, Andrea and Jack. Words can not express how saddened I am. John was the most pleasant, caring and compassionate person I have ever met. I had the pleasure of working with him for several years. He will always remain in my heart, I will always miss his smile and pleasant demeanor. He was truly an inspiration.. God bless and RIP John.
