Obituary For John Paul "Jack" Riske, Jr.

August 4, 1936 - May 12, 2018

Riske, John Paul "Jack", Jr. On Saturday, May 12, 2018, of South Baldwin.

Beloved husband of Lois (Wolf) Riske for over 55 years; loving father of Eric (Cynthia) Riske; pappy of Julius and Alexis Riske; brother of Mary Elizabeth Gropp. Jack was owner/operator of General Cleaning, Inc. and General Window Cleaning, Inc., a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and member of St. Germaine Church for 55 years. Jack was fond of the great outdoors where he loved his annual fishing trip, traveling with family, life and his many friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Mass for Jack will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in St. Germaine Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to either American Heart Assoc., 444 Liberty Ave., #1300, Pgh, PA 15222 or American Lung Assoc., 810 River Ave., #140, Pgh, PA 15212.

    I was so sad when Cindy notified me of his passing this morning. I feel so helpless being so far away. Know that you all are in Ulrich's and my heart and prayers at this difficult time. Please let us know if there's anything we can do.. We will always remember his smile..
