Your mother and my father (Herbert Ament) were cousins. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I know how difficult it is because I am going through it myself. Dad died on February 19th of this year.

Dear Family, I extend my sympathy to you. Your Dad was a person with great talents for sharing God's Word, a pastor who loved his people, and a faithful friend and colleague. I will be in Chicago at the time of the memorial service, but will join you in prayer in giving thanks for the life and ministry of Pastor Braughler.

May the Lord comfort you all in your loss of your father, grandfather, great-grandfather! He was a great man -as pastor & friend to many! He was a big help to me & my family over many years, first at First Lutheran & more recently with my Aunt Ruth there at Friendship Village ! I enjoyed seeing him when I visited my aunt & will remember him with several of his wood crafts he gave me. It will be a great reunion in heaven when all who know Jesus will see him again! I imagine he had quite a welcoming party there! My prayers are with you all! Lord bless you!
