Knowing Tammy was an honor. She was so kind a soul and her love of her family was something that remains for those of us who called her our friend to learn from. We pray for God to hold you that she loved so dearly close and that the love in your hearts from Tammy helps comfort you. It will be there forever.

It's all so surreal and hard to comprehend. Mike, Mandi, Tori, David and Heidi.... My memories of Tammy at our family get-togethers will always be fond... Those we love donâ??t go away, they walk beside us, unseen, unheard, always near, loved, missed, and very dear.
Be strong and keep on keepin' on.

Over the last few days, I have asked God many times, â??Why?â??. Why did He have take her so abruptly? Why did He leave these children without their mother? And, why did He feel that she was needed in Heaven more than we needed her on Earth? I donâ??t claim to know of His ultimate plan, but I must think that there is some greater purpose she is now serving. I take solace in knowing that her legacy will continue to live on in the lives of her children. She created four beautiful lives in Tori, Mandi, David, and Heidi, and their future actions, achievements, and character can all be attributed to how she raised them to be a reflection of herself. I will truly miss her ability to brighten even a cloudy day, and look to see her life continue through her precious children. Rest in peace, dear Tammy!

Dear Johnston Family,
Brett and I were so shocked and saddened to learn of Tammy's untimely death. She was a person who loved deeply-her children were her pride and joy, and we so enjoyed her posts about how well her children were doing-in every aspect of life.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
With deepest sympathy,

My heart goes out to Tammy's children and family. Tammy and I played basketball in high school and stayed in contact through FB. She was beautiful, fun, and always positive and smiling. Her posts will be missed by so many- I loved watching her kids grow up. She was so proud of all of her children and I'm sure they have always felt their mother's love. May God bless the family and may Tammy rest in peace. There is a beautiful angel in heaven who will always be watching over Amanda, Victoria, David, and Heidi.
Sincerely,
Amy (Moore) Derr
