Renk, Joseph B. Age 79, on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Anita; loving father of Joseph B. (Linda) Renk, III and the late Veralyn Batey; dear pap of Dan, Darla, Trevor, Austin and Ashley; cherished great-grandfather of Juliana; brother of Mary McMarr, Alberta Hoover and the late Grace Dombroski, Virginia Bink and Joanne Vetter; quarter uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Joe was a City of Pittsburgh Police Officer for 28 years. He was an Army Veteran, belonged to the American Legion Post 935, Bethel Sportsmans Club, Polish Falcons Nest #8, and FOP #1. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday, January 19, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish in St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 am.
