It was just about 57 years ago, when a blue GTO car entered my sister's driveway. My husband, the late Uncle John and I, Aunt Esther, crossed the street to meet the blind date that our niece and Goddaughter had. We loved this handsome young man, it was love at our very first meeting. This blind date was the start of a Wonderfull life together. They married and became an important part of our lives. Nancy and I were recently blessed to have had a joyful visit with Joe and Angie here in Scottsdale, Arizona, this past January. Joe was a Wonderfull man with a loving and caring heart. I will miss him dearly! I will live with the many memories we shared with Joe and Angie and they will be eternal. Aunt Esther

I met Joe Barnick in 1985 when we both worked for Valspar. Joe was one of the best managers I ever worked with. He had a great personality and treated everyone fairly. But when the going got tough, you could always count on Joe to provide the best answers to the toughest problems! We both retired around the same time, circa 2000. Our social calendar in retirement became even stronger. Whether it be a golfe game, dinner, meet for a cocktail I met Joe Barnick in 1985 when we both worked for Valspar. Whether it be a golf game, dinner, meet for a cocktail, Vegas trip, alaskan cruise we would call each other. On a more serious note, the relationship we had in retirement was more brother like! I will miss that relationship, but even more important is that I will miss you Buddy

Dearest Sugar Daddy, I feel truly blessed to have had you as my second father for almost half of my life. Your strength and integrity were qualities I admired deeply, and I'm thankful for the love and respect you always showed me. You mean more to me than words could ever express and I will miss you dearly. Tracy

Every time I had the opportunity to be around Joe it was like we were the only two people in the room. Typically, we were laughing joking, and picking on anyone around us especially Christian. Besides laughing, we talked about life: where we were where we are and where we are going. He shared his wisdom with me on life and family. He reminded me that family is the only thing that matters in life and that his was the best. I saw him last on July 5, 2024. I was dropping off a birthday gift for him. When I enter the room, he struggled to stand because he hurt himself in a pool a day or two prior. As he still put a sound on my shoulder and thank me for the gift. It was just cookies and candy. He said he want to eat it before his wife got home. I hope you enjoy those treats as much as I enjoyed being in his company. Thank you, Joe for being my friend. He will not be missed as you will always be remembered. Your buddy Rob
