Obituary For Joseph T. Gugliuzza

November 22, 1941 - October 22, 2018

Gugliuzza, Joseph T., age 76, peacefully at home with his family, on Monday, October 22, 2018 of Baldwin Boro, formerly of Arlington. Beloved husband of 55 years to Carol Ann (Hill); loving father of Christine Hyatt and Joseph (Donna) Gugliuzza, Jr.; proud grandfather of Jeffrey, Tyler, Jessica, and Emma Rose; brother of Judy (the late John) Tierney; brother-in-law of Ray (Dolores) Hill, Linda (the late Bill) Miller, Mary "Peg" (the late Pete) Catale, Joanne (Denny) Dowling, Beatrice Prosser, James (Diane) Hill and the late Jeanne and Jerry Leindecker. Also survived and loved by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. "Joe G.", as known to most, loved golf, playing cards, and his Pittsburgh sports teams. He was an active and longtime member of St. Albert the Great Church. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Holy Apostles Parish, 3198 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

    I loved my Uncle Joe. I will always remember all the good times we all had as kids. All the card games he was an awesome God aren't to me as well. I love u Aunt Carol, Chrissy n joey. n I'm sorry for your loss.

    This is one of my saddest days. My oldest cousin (he always joked that I was) and we always had a good laugh about it. He will be missed by all who know him. Love you, Joe.
