Age 86, passed peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025, of Bethel Park formerly of Hazelwood. Husband of the late Barbara Vavro; father of Joseph S. (Laura) Vavro; son of the late John and Genevieve Vavro; brother of the late John (Rosie), Robert (Carol), Jean, Eleanor (Regis) and Edward (survived by Agnes). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was a proud owner and operator of his family-owned barber shop. He loved spending his time outdoors, especially at his camp and was an avid gardener. He was considered a master pie-maker amongst his friends and relatives. Most of all, Joe was proud of his family. Friends will be received at the John F.
