Obituary For Josephine H. "Jo" Dickman-Carson

Dickman - Carson, Josephine (Hund) "Jo" Age 93, on Saturday, May 14, 2016, of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Dickman, Jr. and William G. Carson; loving mother of Donna (Michael) Foyle and grandmother of Katelyn (Matt) Beale and Meghan Foyle; stepmother of Donna Carson, William (Linda) Carson and Diane(Guy) Stehle. Preceded in death by her eight siblings. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jo was a longtime member of St. Sylvester and St. Bernard Church. Her first love was her family. She also enjoyed traveling and playing bingo. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Sylvester Church, 3754 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 or Seven Oaks Hospice Care LLC, 2941 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

    Donna, Michael & Family, We are so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was such a great & sweet person. Always had a smile on her face. She will be sadly missed by all. Your family is in our prayers and we will be thinking of all of you. Love to all
