Obituary For Julia A. Henning

Age 89, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, October 8, 2022, of Brentwood and formerly of South Oakland.

Beloved wife of the late Ronald R.; loving mother of Ronda, Julia, Gloria and Ronald, Jr. (Lisa); proud Nunny of Ronald and Corey Henning and Amanda (Jeremy) Cenci; sister of Dolores Butch and the late Peter J. Butch, Jr. and Rose Lavery. Julia was dedicated to her family and faith. She taught religious education at St. Sylvester, never missed her grandchildren's sporting events and was a dedicated Pirates fan. Julia loved going to the Jersey shore throughout the year. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Cathedral at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Paul Cathedral, 108 N. Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 or Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, Retired Religious Care Fund, 625 Abbott Road, Buffalo, NY 14220.
