Obituary For Julia M. Schmidt

September 10, 1924 - February 21, 2015

Schmidt, Julia M. (Carrozza) Age 90, on Saturday, February 21, 2015, formerly of Baldwin Boro.

Wife of the late Herman I. Schmidt; survived by her children Nancy (Val) Kelmeckis and James (Holly) Schmidt, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister of Ronald Carrozza of FL and John Carrozza of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to Baptist Homes Foundation, 500 Providence Point Boulevard, Suite 204, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.

    Our sympathy on the death of Julia. We always enjoyed talking and laughing with Julie at the Palenese Club picnics in McKeesport. She always spoke about her life, career and family with great fondness.
