Knorr, Karin Elizabeth (Slowik), age 62, on April 10, 2017 of North Huntingdon, formerly of Pleasant Hills. Daughter of JoAnne (Earl) Slowik and the late Kenneth Knorr; sister of Kenneth W. Knorr and Kimberly (Robert) Hammond; aunt of Ali Rae and Laini Joe Hammond. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Karin graduated from Mon Valley School and traveled mostly around Pennsylvania and as far as the state of California advocating for "Speaking for Ourselves", from which she herself benefited making many friends along the way. Karin's fun-loving, outgoing, and feisty personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
