Obituary For Kathleen Ann Baldauf

January 13, 1949 - June 6, 2015 Baldauf, Kathleen Ann (O'Toole) Age 66, of Finleyville, PA, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 6, 2015, while enjoying a summer afternoon at their cabin in West Virginia. Kathy was with her best friend and husband of 46 years Edward (Eddie) Baldauf. Kathy was a loving mother to two sons, Michael and Jeff (daughter-in-law, Julie), and MeMe to her two grandsons Cody and Colton. Often called "Mrs. Wildlife", Kathy was an accomplished archer, hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed nothing more than spending the day outdoors. Kathy was a wonderful, kind hearted person that was always willing to help others. She was, and will always be, an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Words cannot describe how much Kathy will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by a large, extended family: Denny (Dae) Machin, Kathy (John) Quien, Sandy (Larry) Rosenberger, Nancy (Rick) Haskins, Patty (Chuck) Hosler, Maureen (Gary) Stankevich, the late Evelyn (Fred) Foy, Chuck (Leslie) Baldauf, James (Patsy) Baldauf and Patti-Gene (John) Kilpatrick. She was the most awesome Aunt to 34 nieces and nephews and over 32 great- nieces and nephews. The world was a better place when she was here and the world will always be a better place because she was here. We are blessed that GOD graced us with Kathy. In lieu of flowers, Kathy loved her kids, and asked for donations to Tiny Super Heroes. www.tinysuperheroes.com/shop/kathys-heroes. There will be no visitation and funeral services are private. A Celebration Service to follow in a few weeks. Arrangements entrusted to the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood, PA 15227.

It is hard to believe that Kathy is gone. I always think of her as smiling and so full of life, and riding horses (although that was a long time ago). Our deepest sympathy as you, Eddie, and your family find a way to go on without her.

We were in shock hearing about Kathy. You two were some of our best friends for years. Will always remember our marathen card games and when we saw each other it was like we saw each other often and could pick up where we left off at our last visit. Will always remember the good times, I hope at some point you will too. Lots of love to you, Michael and Jeff
