Age 92, passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, of Whitehall, formerly of Southside.

Beloved wife of the late Bob Tischler; loving mother of Kim (Bob Terry) Ladley and Lance (Janice) Tischler; cherished grandma of Samantha (Bevin) Edwards; great-grandma of Cali and Kai. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kate enjoyed sewing, feeding the birds and playing bingo. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday, June 9, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., in the John F. Slater Funeral Home chapel. Kate's family strongly suggests donation be made in her name to St. Jude's 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
