  I met Kathy when I returned to skating as an adult. She was encouraging and an inspiration. When she told me how much she loved skating her eyes light up like a little girl and you could see her passion. I was glad to have met her. Skate in the clouds Kathy !!! -Kim Barnhart

She had a positive impact on countless shelter animals, making their lives better through her presence. She will be dearly missed.
