Obituary For Kenneth H. Hane

Age 70, on Monday, August 5, 2024, of Carrick.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Beth Hane; loving father of Chrisondra (Gregory) Johnston and Tiffaney (Chris) McHenry; son of the late Howard H. and Anne (Pollock) Hane; brother of Glenn Hane and Daniel (the late Elizabeth) Hane. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, along with many friends, and two beloved cats Babyboy "Bubba" and Babygirl. Kenneth was a proud member of IUOE Local 66. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

    Glenn, I was surprised and sorry to learn of Ken's passing. I'm not sure I recall how I got to know Ken, but it may have been while riding the bus to/from work! I saw him last while clearing out my Dad's house. May your memories of Ken give you comfort in the days ahead. Jan Rimlinger Dreher
