May 30, 1974 - September 3, 2015

McCleary, Kevin M. Age 41, on Thursday, September 3, 2015, of Brentwood.

Beloved father of Alayna, Morgan and Kevin M., Jr.; loving son of Kevin W. (Annette Gierlach) McCleary and Michele (Lester Logue) McCleary; brother of Hallie (V.J. Benson) McCleary and Lisa (Jake Lindahl) McCleary; uncle of Tyler, Nicky and Brianna Benson and Jaelynn, Natosha, Aaliyah, Mercedez and Lexus Lindahl; grandson of Gerry and Barry McCleary and the late Dorothy and Michael Diamond; very special friend of Pam Turzak; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

    Alayna, Morgan, & Little Kevin, First I would state my deepest sympathy for the loss of your father. Your father was a good man. He worked hard. He had his faults as we all do. We are only human. He loved you kids very much. He was very proud of all of you. He spoke highly of all of you all the time. These last several years were not easy on him. He put up quite a battle for the last five years. He did everything he possibly could to be with you all. He never gave up. Me and Jackie have known your dad since he was young. We have the up most respect for him especially in the ways he tried to provide for you guys and guide you all in the right direction. He was a trooper and will sorely be missed by me, Jackie, and many people he was friends with and even ones who barley knew him. He touched many people in a positive way with his good nature and up lifting spirit. Please remember that we are here for you guys if you need some support.     My heart aches for your loss. I have known Kevin forever and am so saddened by his passing. He was such a great friend of mine growing up and I will forever cherish those wonderful times... Our circle of friends were so close and when I think back at that group I smile... We all loved each other so much and spent almost every single day hanging out at Pam's house having fun. Kevin will not be forgotten and was a huge part of my life back then. Thinking of all of you in this difficult time. And just wanted to share with you how much he meant to his friends..
