March 28, 1971 - September 4, 2017

Mulvihill, Kristen K. (Collins) Age 46, unexpectedly on Monday, September 4, 2017, of Whitehall and Baldwin.

Loving wife of 18 yrs. to James G.; beloved daughter to Kenneth J. and Laurie T. Collins; cherished sister of William M. (Dana) and Jeffrey M. (Shannon) Collins; daughter-in-law of Theresa Mulvihill; sister-in-law of Annemarie Marshall, Kathleen (Michael) DiMuzio and Cynthia (Jason) Woleslagle; proud aunt of Emily, Julia, Braden, Ava, Arianna and Nathan. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the late "Zoe". Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anne's Church at 9:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pgh. PA 15237.

    Like everyone, I was and still am so shocked to hear of Kristen's passing. We worked together for several years at Dr. Schultz's office. We had lots of laughs together and helped each other through some tough times as well. Kristen was always willing to lend an ear and offer advice, and never judged! Even though we didn't remain in touch, I did think of her often and always hoped that she was happy and healthy. She was a great person, friend, and coworker! Wishing you all the strength to get through this terrible time.

    I extend my heartfelt sympathy to all of Kristen's family and loved ones. I have a thousand memories of us from our childhood days, and I'll cherish each one. We grew up a few doors apart, and for that, I'm grateful. I don't remember her once ever being mean to anyone; her spirit was kind and gentle. May angels comfort all of you during these dark times. Kristen is surely at peace with our Lord.
