Martin, LaVerne J. (O'Brien) Age 85, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of West Mifflin.

Beloved wife of the late Donald R. Martin; loving mother of Jeffrey R. (Shelly) Martin and Susan L. Martin; proud "granmaw" of Christine (Bryan) Regan, Samantha (Larry Brown) Brnilovich, Jennifer (Matt) Cavalancia, Jacklyn (Cory) Moore and David Fiedler II; great "granmaw" of Larry, Alessa, Leland, Lydia and Braden. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 10:30.g If desired, family suggests contributions to Down Syndrome Center at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, 4401 Penn Ave., # 3000, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
