  Laughlin Family

  We truly feel the world is a lesser place with the passing of LaVerne. LaVerne and her family lived two doors down from our grandparents for several years. Our frequent trips to Pittsburgh enabled us to create a relationship between our families and numerous memories remain vivid in our minds and in our hearts. LaVerne lit up any room she entered with her infectious laugh and even bigger smile. We giggled when she called our Pap "JoeJoe" and when she sang "My Melody of Love" and "Elvira" with our Gram! The numerous attempts to teach us how to polka in Gram's kitchen never worked but every time we hear polka music, we think of those two great ladies. Her Christmas card was always received first each year and meant the kickoff to the holiday season for our family. It's with such sad sorrow that we send our sympathy to the entire Svitek family.   It is with heavy heart to say, until we meet again, to such an Amazing, Gram Svitek! My family and I have so many memories of parties, picnics, 4th of July parades!! Gram always treated and loved Travis and Faith as another grandchild. Thank you for sharing gram! You'll always be my girlfriend who I love a bushel & a peck and a hug around the neck!
