Age 80, of Zephyrhills, FL, formerly of Carrick, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 5, 1940, he was the son of the late James and Rosemarie Conway Healy. He was a Port Authority Bus Driver/Street Car Operator. Larry proudly served in the United States Army for three years from 1961-1964. He was an avid golfer and had managed to score three hole-in-ones. He had the voice of an angel and will be missed for his smile. He had a strong faith and was devoted to his family. Surviving are his wife, Carole Kasan Healy, who he married on November 7, 1997, his children, Jeffrey (Karen) Healy, Michele (George) Healy Bittel, Renee Healy Kopach and Patrick Healy. Step-father of James (Kara) McKenzie, Tracy Smith, Heather (Scott) Reimer. 14 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Brother of Anita (George) Froelich, Marilyn (Cliff Brown) Healy. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren and siblings, Raymond, Carol (James), William (surviving Jean),Roseann, Rev. Joseph, Richard (surviving Phyllis), James (surviving Nellie), Robert, twin-brother, Daniel (Judie). Family and friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 1:00 until 8:00 PM. Services will be held on Friday morning at 11:00 in the funeral home. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
