Oberle, Leonard F., age 86, on Thursday, August 25, 2016 of Baldwin Boro. Beloved husband of 58 years to LaVerne (Miller) Oberle; loving father of Sandra (John) Schwab and Linda (Peter) Smith; Pap Pap of Jane and Katie Schwab; son of the late George and Bertha Oberle; brother of the late Francis (Jane) Oberle. Len served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Bell of PA, then AT&T, until his retirement, was a member of the American Legion #935, Baldwin Kiwanis Club, Baldwin Food Pantry, an active member of both St. Wendelin and St. Albert the Great Parishes, as well as an avid supporter of the Baldwin Library. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday from 6-8 and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Baldwin Boro Food Pantry, 1 Readshaw Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
