I'll never forget Miss Graffia. I was in her Chemistry class the morning of 9/11. I'll never forget what she said to us, "Sit down boys. I need to talk to you. Just a few minutes ago, in New York City, two planes hit the towers at the World Trade Center. Another plane just crashed in Somerset. We are unsure of who and why, but we think it might be terrorists. Now, we're going to stay here, in this room, but eventually, we are going to go back to home room. I don't have any answers to your questions, just know that you are safe." She was a wonderful teacher, and a good woman. May she rest in peace in the glory of the Lord.

Tina was my good friend and coworker at Central. She was a great friend and outstanding teacher. Her students knew she cared for each and every one of them. It was my honor to work with her and to call her my friend. She was such a fighter and through it all she was always optimistic for her kids and grandkids. I send my deepest sympathy, prayers and love to the family.
