Obituary For Linda Marie Lorey

Age 63, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, of Brentwood.

Mother of Candice (Nathan) Leffingwell; grandmother of Skylar and Tyler Leffingwell; daughter of the late Michael and Lois Gerun; sister of Michael (Hedva), Richard (Sandra) and Steven Gerun. Also survived by six nieces and three nephews. Linda was a strong, unique and adventurous individual. She enjoyed traveling, was proud to have gone skydiving and considered her family her greatest accomplishment. Family and close friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of her blessing service at 6:00 p.m. Due to the current health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Keystone Chapter, Cardello Building, 1501 Reedsdale Street # 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233 or to Humane Animal Rescue, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.

    Linda, you were the best neighbor...always laughing and making others laugh. You're now an angel and I'm sure your being welcomed with open arms. My favorite memory of you is seeing you drive ur wheelchair thru the 4th of July parade and waving. You always had a smile on ur face. You will be missed deeply. Candice, Nate, Skylar and Tyler I'm so sad for all of you! She was ur bright light at the end of a tunnel. She was ur everything, just remember, you were everything to her!!! Sending positive vibes, prayers and hugs! Timmy and I love you all!
