Obituary For Linda R. Vogel

December 5, 1946 - March 8, 2016

Vogel, Linda R. (Friedman) Age 69, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, of Pittsburgh.

Beloved wife of 43 years to Robert J. "Buck" Vogel; loving mother of Amy (Michael) Hart, Brian (Angel) Vogel and Robin (Jared Mitchell) Vogel; Grammy of Lucy and Sam Vogel and Sophie Hart; daughter of the late Sylvia and H. W. Friedman, M.D.; sister of Stanley Friedman, PhD and B J Friedman, PhD; best friend of Sue Heckert. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
