Obituary For Lois M. (Wehner) Kuzbel

Kuzbel, Lois M. (Wehner), age 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, of Baldwin. Daughter of the late Alphonse and Mary Wehner; cherished mother of Jeff (Maribeth) Kuzbel and the late Keith Kuzbel; proud grandma of Joshua (Lauren) Kuzbel, Jake (Lexi) Kuzbel, Michael (Gabby) Kuzbel and Courtney Kuzbel; sister of the late James (survived by Mary Margaret "Butch") Wehner. Lois was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and an exceptional bridge player. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:45, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m.

    I write to send my deepest condolences to the Kuzbel family. I did not know Mrs. Lois Kuzbel personally, but I know her son Jeff. The Bible tells us that we will know a tree by its fruit. I know that Mrs. Kuzbel was a woman of God who produced good fruit. I trust that she will enjoy all the beauty of heaven for eternity and that her family finds comfort in knowing that she is with our heavenly father. With much respect and sympathy, Carla D.
